New general manager takes helm at Comis Hotel

Andrew Jamieson describes Island as 'exciting place' to come to

The Comis Hotel & Golf Resort has confirmed the appointment of a new general manager.

Andrew Jamieson takes up the post as part of the latest plans to drive and co-ordinate the venue's future strategy.

Mr Jamieson has worked across Europe and the UK.

They include the Feversham Arms in Yorkshire, with which he won a Catey Award, and the Galgorm where he won the Janus Award for Hotel Manager of the Year.

Taking up the position, Mr Jamieson describes the Isle of Man as 'an exciting place to come to'.

He adds: "My job is to build on what is already here and maybe add that extra bit of sparkle."
