Continent 8 Technologies, providing outsourced Internet infrastructure and related managed hosting services to the on-line gaming industry, says it's recruited new management to prepare for the opening of a new state of the art data centre.
The company says its median salary is 30 per cent above the figure for the Isle of Man as a whole, and the new members of staff have been recruited locally.
And there are plans for further expansion. Continent 8 says the aim is 'to provide a world class service to the e-business market on and off the Island.'
The company is headquartered in Pulrose Road but also has offices in Malta, Singapore and what's termed 'a unique relationship with Mohawk Internet Technologies in Kahnawake, Canada.'
