Former MHK and marketing specialist set to be confirmed in Tynwald
A former MHK and the ex-head of marketing for a UK supermarket chain are set to be appointed as non-executive directors of the Steam Packet Company.
Bill Shimmins served as MHK for Middle between 2016 and 2021, and was a political member for Treasury when it purchased the ferry operator.
Amanda Bindon is currently the chair of Laxey Glen Mills, and has previously had senior marketing roles with Waitrose and Pizza Hut UK.
Their appointments are subject to approval at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
