The Waterfall goes on the market
The old Waterfall Country Inn in Glen Maye is up for sale.
Thought to date back to around 1860, plans were submitted to demolish the venue in favour of new, residential developments.
But, local people spoke out against the proposals, and the pub remains.
The estate agent advertising the property says it: "Would benefit from some modernisation and refurbishment, but represents a fantastic opportunity to re-establish one of the foremost country locations on the Island for food and drink."
One comment on social media called it a 'national treasure'.
