
Standard Bank Isle of Man has appointed Simon Buckerfield to the post of business development manager in its intermediary team.
The company says he’ll take responsibility for promoting offshore savings and deposit accounts in South America and Africa.
Mr Buckerfield has 16 years experience in banking and joins the company from HSBC Bank Dubai, where he was on a three-year secondment.
He’s also worked in Jersey and the UK before moving to the Island in 1999.
