Friends Provident International has appointed Mike Waterman as head of international development and strategy.
He joined the company in 2007 as a senior programme director and has a background in financial services, IT divisions and change delivery programmes.
Mike Waterman faces a big challenge in his new role: to boost the capacity of FPI to grow.
On the firm's international platform, he'll focus on developing systems to match international markets, looking at issues such as language capabilities and multiple currencies.
