Firm appoints senior specialist
Island accountancy firm Grant Thornton has appointed taxation expert Andrew Hunter as a senior consultant in its tax department.
Mr Hunter who has more than 20 years experience in the field and is a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians, moves to Grant Thornton from another large Island practice.
He has a degree in accountancy and worked for a top 20 UK practice in London before moving to the Isle of Man in 2005.
He said: "I have worked with large practices before but the extensive global network of expertise and knowledge Grant Thornton has, made this position very attractive to me - the Tax Department can drawn on the knowledge and research of international colleagues to deliver a comprehensive and bespoke service to clients."
