DGE's investigates more than 90 Amaya employees
An American agency has released a list of people it says can’t be involved with any aspect of Pokerstars owner Amaya Gaming after it won permission to operate in New Jersey.
The state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement says Pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker can set up in New Jersey, provided it drops a list of people who’d been involved with the Rational Group.
The DGE’s investigated more than 90 Amaya employees as it considered licensing the company.
And it also said the Canadian firm has to dismiss four senior executives who it says “failed to establish the requisite good character, honesty and integrity required”.
All four are thought to have been involved with the Rational Group when Pokerstars was targeted by the US Department of Justice in April 2011 during the “Black Friday” crackdown on egaming.
