No excuse not to protect against cyber attacks

Report shows threat is a growing global concern

There's no excuse for not investing in cyber defences - that's the view of a Director at KPMG.

Simon Nicholas was speaking after a new report by the firm showed the threat of cyber attacks to businesses is a growing concern to CEOs on a global level.

The KPMG International 2018 Global CEO Outlook Report, which is a survey of 1300 CEOs from around the world, states that nearly half felt that becoming a victim of a cyber attack is no longer a case of 'if', but rather 'when'.

Mr Nicholas says firms are taking steps to combat the threat.

He made the comments while discussing the report alongside Senior Manager at KPMG Brian Beesley, Managing Partner at Appleby Faye Moffatt, and CEO of Zurich Peter Huber.
