Funds raised by staff through 2017
Old Mutual International has donated £30,000 to ManxSPCA and Alzheimer’s Society Isle of Man.
The funds were raised during 2017 through the company’s ‘Charities of the Year’ initiative.
Every year, employees nominate local charities to support, with the two most popular being chosen.
Staff raised the money in various ways, including cake bakes, dress-down Fridays, an advent raffle, and via sponsorship by taking part in things like the Parish Walk and End-to-End Walk.
Old Mutual International Managing Director Peter Kenny presented cheques for £15,000 to representatives from both charities at a recent event held by the company to celebrate staff achievements in 2017.
