Unit could be transformed to make retail centre 'more attractive' to families
Planning permission is being sought to create a new indoor play area at Tynwald Mills.
The company wants to transform a furniture shop in The Courtyard as part of efforts to make the retail facility ‘more attractive to young families’.
The current outlet’s lease has come to an end and, following a customer service survey, customers have expressed a need for children’s activities to complement the current retail offering.
If successful the same internal layout of the existing unit would be maintained and soft play installations would be installed as well as seating areas.
Two toilet cubicles and baby changing facilities would also be created.
The play area would be open in line with the opening hours of the retail site and would not be open late nights.
The application is currently pending consideration – you can find out more HERE.
