Firm expands customer offer
Pokerstars has made its long-anticipated moved into sports betting, with a new website.
BetStars.com offers betting on more than 25 sports including football, tennis and basketball – and will also offer odds on eSports and poker contests.
Rational Group chief executive Rafi Ashkenazi says players will be able to use a single customer wallet to move between sportsbook, casino and poker.
PokerStars says it plans to open BetStars in a number of countries over the course of the next year, as well as launch an huge customer acquisition campaign.
