UK players offered sports wagering
Manx-based Pokerstars has launched a new sports betting produced for its online players in the UK.
The company has begun offering betting on football, basketball, tennis, rugby union and ice hockey via its PokerStars 7 client software.
The move comes after Canadian giant Amaya said it would expand its online sports betting team after it bought the Rational Group in 2014.
The sports wager team is based at the Pokerstars head office in Onchan.
