Manx-based PokerStars has announced it's to sponsor a tournament with a difference.
While the card game is usually associated with deadpan men, the High Heels Poker Tour is just for the fairer sex.
The PokerStars sponsorship supports the tour's growing calendar; the first round began this month in Verona, in New York, and events are planned for Florida.
As well as sponsoring the tour, PokerStars will be involved with the HHPT Grand Finale and a $1,000 buy-in ladies event in the Caribbean in January next year.
