Ramsey businesses visited by commissioners' chairman

Fantastic to see the town flourishing, says Cowie

Chairman of Ramsey Town Commissioners Andy Cowie has been visiting some of the new or expanding businesses in the town in the run-up to Christmas.

He went to Serendipity and Natural Beauty & Accessories in St Paul’s Square, who have recently opened, to welcome them to Ramsey on behalf of the commissioners.

At Ramsey Art Gallery, Mr Cowie congratulated the owners on celebrating 30 years of trading as a popular family business in the town.

He was also able to see first-hand the investment which The Ramsey Park Hotel, Daves Delicious Diner and the Cooil Bar have made during recent refurbishment works.

Pure Inspiration was still celebrating after being awarded the “Best in store and window” display at the Greats Gift Retailer Awards 2019.

Finally, Mr Cowie called into the farmers market to congratulate them on the success they have enjoyed in the courthouse and to thank them for adding to the town’s appeal on busy Saturdays.

He says it is fantastic to see Ramsey flourishing, particularly in the busy run up to Christmas and in the face of discouraging news from the high street in many areas of the UK.
