Three southern beaches tackles by volunteers
The staff of Aon Insurance created a new record when they tackled three beaches in one day as volunteers for the charity Beach Buddies.
It was the first time that three different beaches had been cleaned in one day by the same team - the group removed rubbish from Spaldrick, Brewery Bay and Fleshwick.
Aon gave their staff the day off to get involved in a charity event of their choice, and they decided to team up with Beach Buddies.
They collected 15 bags of rubbish at Spaldrick, 19 bags at Brewery Bay and 12 more at Fleshwick - a total of 46.
