Two-thousand masks donated for UK transfer patients
Robinsons has raised £1,500 for Manx Breast Cancer, as a result of a month-long fundraising effort.
The team at the greengrocers held a 'Pink October' event, selling cakes and bouquets of flowers, to raise funds for breast cancer research.
Alongside the money, the company has donated 2,000 face masks, to be used by Manx patients travelling to the UK for treatment.
Managing Director, Janna Horsthuis said: 'Robinsons supports many local charities and the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, along with all of them, are absolutely vital to our Island.'
'Donating masks - with the help of Vannin Healthcare – and antibacterial sanitiser has been helped to make a difference not just for breast cancer patients but all cancer patients travelling to the UK for essential treatment, so we were very glad to help.'
