It's reported a French Socialist minister sacked for lying to President François Hollande about his secret Swiss bank account also had £2 million in accounts on the Isle of Man.
Jérôme Cahuzac plunged the French government into crisis a year ago when he eventually admitted to having €600,000 in secret Swiss bank accounts.
He had originally denied having the money.
The Daily Telegraph claims the money held on the Island between 1997 and 2004 was used mostly to invest in British property.
Mr Cahuzac did not declare the money to French authorities.
