Deal aiming to help union expand services for community
Santander International has reached an agreement to support a local organisation in extending its financial services across the community.
Santander International has confirmed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Manx Credit Union.
The deal is designed to help the union in its work to provide savings, loans and financial education to people across the Isle of Man.
In particular, these services are hoped to assist those who struggle to access mainstream banking and are less 'financially resilient'.
Managing Director of Santander International's Isle of Man Branch, James Geldart, says Manx Credit Union 'plays an important role in our community'.
Meanwhile, Manx Credit Union Chair, David Talbot, says they anticipate a rise in demand for services as the cost of living crisis continues, and is thanking Santander for it's backing.
