Sarah Wade is the Governor's Cadet

A trainee at Douglas-based Crowe Morgan chartered accountants who spends her spare time with the air cadets has been invested as the Lieutenant Governor's Cadet.

Sarah Wade, 19, has risen to the highest rank possible: Cadet Warrant Officer in the Air Cadets 440 (1st Manx) Squadron.

Sarah's a CAT, or Certified Accounting Technician trainee at Crowe Morgan, whose office is in St George's Street.

As the Governor's Cadet, she will represent all armed forces cadets in the Isle of Man at formal receptions and events.

Partner at Crowe Morgan Amy Slee says she was delighted to support Sarah at her investiture ceremony at Government House last week.

She says Sarah works very hard and applies the mindset which has helped in her cadet career, as a trainee accountant at the firm.
