Business presentation on work and role of registry
The director of the Isle of Man Ship Registry will outline to a local business audience tonight (16 June) its benefit to the Island.
Dick Welsh, appointed to the post in 2006, will give a presentation to the Manx branch of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators at the Claremont Hotel in Douglas.
Mr Welsh will talk about his work promoting the ship register around the world and selling the benefits of conducting maritime business here, to those aren't aware of what the Island can offer.
