Berge Snaefell named in Japan
A Singapore shipping giant has paid tribute to the Isle of Man with its latest vessel.
Berge Bulk's new carrier, Berge Snaefell, fits in with the firm's slogan of 'moving mountains'.
Representatives from the Isle of Man Shipping Registry attended the 38,000 tonne capacity ship's naming ceremony in Imabari, Japan last week.
Berge Bulk is a major client of the Manx registry, with a fleet of more than 70 vessels.
