Skanco business breakfast

Skanco is to hold a business breakfast to showcase Windows 7, the latest version of Microsoft Windows.

The event will take place in the Palace Cinema on Thursday, November 19 when representatives from Microsoft UK will be outlining and demonstrating the key features of the new operating system to an invited audience.

Skanco’s managing director David Butterworth, who will be hosting the event, said: ‘As a Microsoft Gold partner we’re pleased to be able to offer our customers the opportunity to discover more about this exciting new product so soon after its UK launch in October.

‘Windows 7 builds on the success of Windows Vista, but is a more refined, quicker version that reflects the way PC users’ habits have changed over the years. The new system has a more modern “look and feel” with its redesigned taskbar and improved desktop navigation and device management. Simply put, Windows 7 helps users work smarter.’

The Skanco Windows 7 showcase breakfast event will be held at 8.30am and is expected to finish no later than 10am.
