Unemployment has risen again.
It rose by 54 in February to 980 (689 men and 291 women), 2.3 per cent of the economically active population.
During the month, 280 claimants signed on the unemployment register and 226 signed off.
A total of 556 job vacancies were notified to the Job Centre and at the end of the month 250 were still vacant and held on file.
