This is a paid promotion on behalf of Digital Isle of Man
The Isle of Man Innovation Challenge is an annual competition that brings together global tech talent to develop transformative solutions across FinTech, Cleantech, and Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Now in its third year, the Challenge connects innovative businesses with government, regulators, and local industry to tackle real-world issues while supporting sustainable growth and technological advancement on the Island.
For 2025, the Challenge received over 100 registrations from innovators around the world, highlighting the growing global appeal of the Isle of Man as a launchpad for purpose-driven technology.
This year’s Data & AI category, led by Digital Isle of Man, features pioneering technologies with the potential to transform industries, communities, and daily life.
The category is proudly supported by Love Tech, a local charity that inspires and empowers girls and young women to pursue careers in STEM.
Their involvement reinforces the shared mission to ensure innovation is inclusive, diverse, and driven by social purpose.
Aligned with the Island’s status as a UNESCO Biosphere, the category also places strong emphasis on responsible, nature-positive technology.
This year’s finalists are developing tools that contribute to sustainability, efficiency, and social impact—ranging from carbon tracking and AI regulation to small business support and early childhood development.
The finalists represent a diverse mix of innovation from the UK, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, each contributing to the Island’s reputation as a thriving hub for ethical and sustainable digital innovation.
Meet the Finalists:
Carbon Happy World (UK) is building a Carbon Data Stewardship Foundation to position the Isle of Man as a global sustainability leader. Their platform securely centralises carbon data for public and private sectors to improve transparency and accelerate climate action.
RuleWise (Guernsey) offers AI-powered compliance tools. Their CORE and CREW platforms streamline regulatory workflows and introduce adaptable multi-agent systems that simplify complex legal and financial environments.
Joggle (UK) delivers AI Assistants for SMEs. Their user-friendly platform helps small businesses reduce costs and save time, giving them access to powerful AI tools typically reserved for large enterprises.
Janus AI (Isle of Man) focuses on sales and service automation, creating AI agents that improve efficiency and customer experience across both commercial and public sector settings.
Early Ideas IOM (Isle of Man) is advancing early childhood development through Tandem, an AI-driven platform that offers personalised, expert-backed resources for parents to support children’s learning from the earliest stages.
Kurt Roosen, Head of Innovation at Digital Isle of Man, commented:
“The calibre and ambition of this year’s Data & AI finalists is outstanding. Each innovation has the potential not only to advance the Island’s digital agenda but also to address global challenges.
"By aligning with Love Tech and upholding our Biosphere principles, this category shows how data and AI can drive ethical, inclusive innovation.”
Winners of the Data & AI category, along with those from the Cleantech and FinTech categories, will be announced at the Innovation Challenge Finale Day on 26 June 2025 at the Comis Hotel.
Finalists will present their solutions to a panel of judges and industry leaders, with the event also featuring a keynote address from Erik Solheim, renowned environmentalist and former Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme.
By connecting global innovators with the Island’s supportive ecosystem, and through partnerships with organisations like Love Tech, the Data & AI category highlights how innovation, community and sustainability can thrive together.
