Set marks 300 years of Royal Artillery
Isle of Man Post Office is marking 300 years of the Royal Regiment of Artillery with a set of six stamps.
The collection will depict a number of veterans from the regiment, including Major Kate Philp who lost her leg in Afghanistan, and a soldier of the Royal Artillery from 1716.
The set also illustrates uniforms worn by gunners over the past three centuries.
The launch on 9 May coincides with the Captain-General's baton visit to the Island during its global circumnavigation.
Officer and Commander of the Island's Army Reserve Major Glenn Espie says the Manx have an historic connection with the regiment:
Product recall issued after asbestos found in sand
Island set for 'Uber Eats style' delivery service
MUA reviewing plans for floating solar scheme
Sight Matters marks 90 Years with packed programme of events
