Staff at Standard Bank Isle of Man will be ‘stepping up’ to support local man Roger Davies in his ‘million steps challenge’ for Manx Cancer Help.
As a corporate sponsor of Roger’s challenge, Standard Bank was keen to enhance its support through fundraising and decided to challenge staff to climb 150,000 steps on Friday, in recognition of the group’s 150-year anniversary.
The 20 staff who have volunteered to swap their work wear for workout gear, will take turns to climb up and down the staircase in their Douglas office until they reach the joint goal of 150,000 steps.
Roger has agreed to come along during the day to offer words of advice and encouragement to the team and talk about his own inspirational challenge.
