The Steam Packet Company has given £500 to a local good cause to thank it for its help as divers repaired one of its vessels.
The business handed over a cheque to the Hyperbaric Chamber on Peel Road in Douglas, which was on standby throughout last week in case of emergency.
As divers battled to repair engine damage caused by debris, the chamber also helped refill air bottles, prompting the Steam Packet Company’s chief executive Mark Woodward to thank the chamber for its professionalism and support.
