STEP students present projects

Undergraduate placements bear fruit

Thirty-eight students have completed their STEP projects with a range of private and public sector companies this summer.

They will be presenting their work at the final ceremony today (28 August) to more than 70 guests, including Michael MHK Alf Cannan and two on-Island judges, Helen Cowley and Tracy Greenwood.

Two awards will be given to students, ‘Best Presentation’ and ‘Most Enterprising Student’, with a runner-up in each category.

They will be judged on their presentations, written project reports and the report from the host company.

This year projects have ranged from a shower screen concept to creating a new set of drawings for the TT and Southern 100 courses, showing the restricted areas.
