Strive expands

Significant business growth in the Isle of Man has prompted the public relations firm Strive to take on new staff and move to new premises.

The company also says it is in merger talks with an off-Island PR agency and hopes to make an announcement in the Autumn.

Strive was launched as an international virtual consultancy headquartered in the Isle of Man in early 2006. It now uses offices in the advertising agency EDL's building in Hills Meadow.

Managing Partner Sherrilynne Starkie says they had been working with EDL on a number of client engagements, and when they were looking for new premises the offer of an office share seemed like a great idea. 'The companies remain completely independent, but share a roof and collaborate on projects', she said.

Strive Public Relations started on the Island with a focus on technology PR, but has since expanded its scope to include financial services, tourism and publishing, among other things.
