Firm's new intern to mingle with super-rich
The world's most prestigious annual event for the super yacht industry opens this week, and Manx companies are gearing up to take it by storm.
Around 600 exhibitors are attending this year's Monaco Yacht Show (27-30 Spet), the event's 27th edition.
Specialist service companies, wealth management, accountancy and telecoms firms will form a Manx business delegation.
They will share a stand at the show with the Island's Ship Registry and Superyacht Forum, in a display of public-private partnership designed to showcase the Isle of Man as a maritime centre of excellence.
Events create a platform for companies to network with industry contacts and clients, and seek out new business opportunities.
Nigel Watson owns Manx-based international helicopter management and operating company Luviair Ltd, which supplies VIP aircraft to luxury yachts.
This year he's taking his team for their first visit to Monaco, including newly-appointed marketing intern Liam Finch.
