Students plan trip to Mars

Two students who won a two week trip to the NASA Space Centre in Houston this year, have described the experience as 'unbelievable'.

St Ninian's High School pupil Adam Clucas, who is applying for Cambridge University, and Will Berry from Ballakermeen, who hopes to go to Durham, took part in an exercise to plan a flight of astronauts to Mars, the landing on the 'Red Planet' and a safe return to Earth.

They spoke about the experience to Manx Radio's Business Editor John Moss (audio file attached):

Adam and Will were presented with certificates by Education Minister Anne Craine, whose department sonsored the trip to Texas in association with ManSat.
