Deliveries due to operate as normal today
Deliveries to the energy from waste plant will resume as normal today (8 November).
It follows a fire at the Richmond Hill site on Friday.
Firefighters, and staff, worked through the night to ensure the blaze – which started in a waste pit – was under control and to prevent re-ignition.
SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK, which operates the site, has thanked the emergency services for their help and confirmed a 'thorough investigation' into the cause of the fire will be undertaken.
