Scheme to boost investment in small firms
There could soon be good news for investors in Manx business – with a new tax relief scheme from the government.
The Treasury has announced it will hold a public consultation on a proposed scheme to offer income tax relief to investors in growing Island-based businesses.
The Manx Enterprise Investment Scheme would hope to encourage investment in small higher-risk trading companies, with a maximum £20,000 relief a year or £40,000 for couples.
