Motorola signals all systems go
An electronics giants has completed a huge upgrade of the Island’s emergency services radio system.
Tynwald voted to spend £4.9 million upgrading TETRA in October 2014, and now Motorola Solutions says it’s completed the project.
The secure system is used by police, the Fire and Rescue Service, ambulance staff and marshals at the TT and Festival of Motorcycling.
The deal also includes a 10-year maintenance contract.
