The DED comes to life!

Closer ties between the Manx government and the finance sector will help boost the Isle of Man's future prospects.

That's the hope of the Department of Economic Development, as it unveils a new partnership scheme.

The Isle of Man Finance Partnership is backed by the Chamber of Commerce and will see the civil service and private sector working closely together.

DED member Juan Watterson says it's an idea that points the way ahead (listen to audio file below):

Mr Watterson is a candidate in Rushen for the House of Keys general election on September 29.

The other candidates in the constitiuency are Phil Gawne, Quintin Gill, David Jones, John Orme and Laurence Skelly.
