Business supports budding musicians and performers
Celton Manx is providing those who had wished to compete in the Manx Competitive Music, Speech and Dance Festival with alternative methods of performing this year.
Organisers announced the event's cancellation last month.
People who had submitted an entry to the 2020 event can now upload a home recording of their performance to ‘The Guild Goes On’ online.
Each entry which will be reviewed by a qualified adjudicator, with certificates sent out by email.
The business had been due to sponsor a new category called ‘Anything Goes’, where competitors could enter as a solo or group artist, and perform using Africa as a theme.
Executive Director Bill Mummery said “as operators of a global online business we understand the opportunities that an online Manx Music Festival presents.”
