Licencing review call for pop-up events

Fledgling business poses question

Licencing is proving an obstacle for pop-up event consultancy Lewis Lewis - a new business aiming to freshen the Island's leisure scene.

Jamie Lewis departed the Bath and Bottle restaurant in March this year after six years at Rock Food Concepts.

Inspired by B&B's ethos, he set up on his own bar-tending, events and consultancy business, offering services for private hire.

Jamie says in the UK, his licence to trade followed the person, not the venue - however, on the Isle of Man licences are static.
