
The former executive editor of Computer Weekly will be the guest of the Island branch of the British Computer Society this month.
Tony Collins has won 26 awards for journalism in the IT sector over the past two decades and is regarded as the most influential journalist in the arena of Professional IT in the United Kingdom.
He will be one of the primary speakers at a Commonwealth Parliamentary Association on the Island next week, but will also speak to the Isle of Man BCS while he is here.
That talk takes place on Wednesday at the Sanderson Suite in the Claremont Hotel in Douglas, starting at 6:30pm.
