An Island construction company has received a top award from a leading personnel management body.
Colas Isle of Man is the first Manx business in its sector to receive Gold Award status from practice standard organisation Investors in People.
IIP Assessor Michael Lynch visited the company, part of an international road construction and maintenance group for two days, interviewing a quarter of the 65-strong workforce.
Mr Lynch said he was impressed by the ‘high staff morale’, the work ethic of employees and the strong core values that everyone works towards.
The company's Group Managing Director Steph Lowe said the award was recognition of the staff's willingness to achieve greater things.
