
News that the Manx Electric railway will not be operating from Laxey to Ramsey this season has come as a considerable blow to Ramsey.
The state of the track and the lack of time to put it right has meant Tourism Minister, Adrian Earnshaw, pulling the service over the summer.
Ramsey Traders Association say the loss of the line north will be a considerable blow.
