It had been a regular fixture at question time in Tynwald and the House of Keys, but neither had heard much about Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander of late.
That changed on Tuesday, when Onchan MHK Peter Karran quizzed Treasury Minister Anne Craine about the guarantee provided by its parent company.
Mrs Craine told the court the FSC didn’t take the guarantee into account when it assessed the Manx bank:
