Experts will give an explanation of 'Web 2.0' at an event to be staged by the Chartered Management Institute on Monday.
A panel will discuss the hype and opportunities surrounding the technology.
'Web 2.0' is about user-created content, such as that viewed by millions of people every day on the phenomenally successful YouTube.
The panel will include Chris Hall of Manx Telecom, Andy Williams from the Manx government and PR specialist Sherrilynne Starkie.
The discussion will be at the Hilton hotel, Douglas from 6.15pm and is free and open to all.
