Equality law update for Island employers
Island employers considering the implications of new equality legislation are urged to wise-up at a free seminar this month.
Employment Law Developments - Equality and Whistleblowing is the title of the event on 18 October, organised by the Association of Corporate Service Providers.
Guest speaker Leanne McKeown from DQ Advocates will draw on case law examples from the UK and further afield, with a focus on disability discrimination laws.
The ACSP says the talk will also cover forthcoming changes to the FSA rule, and suggest regulated firms should put in place a free-standing whistleblowing policy.
The seminar is in the upper hall at Loch Promenade church in Douglas immediately after the ACSP's AGM, from 12 noon.
