An Irish mum has taken the taste of Manx bacon, cabbage and potatoes onto the international babyfood market.
Marion Dale lived in the Island last year when she fed Rosa-Mae a dish of mashed potatoes and cabbage with tiny bacon pieces.
And when she moved to Donegal, she entered the recipe into a competition run by Heinz baby food.
The company was so impressed it will now launch a new product including Marion’s ingredients.
But nobody will know it’s based on Manx food. When it launches, it’ll be known as Irish stew with gammon.
