Officers on community patrols to use them
With ten e-bikes lying unused by staff during the current lockdown, Zurich International has decided to loan them to the Isle of Man Constabulary.
They'll be used by officers around the Island when they undertake community patrols.
Members of the Road Safety Team will also use the bikes to get out and about offering safety advice at a time when many more people are using and enjoying bikes.
Superintendent Steve Maddocks of the Isle of Man Constabulary says, "The public like seeing officers on patrol and it allows us to be visible and engage with them whilst meeting our policing priorities in relation to Covid matters".
