Manx Care blames 15% reduction in staffing
Eleven hundred hospital appointments had to be converted into telephone consultations as a result of high levels of staff sickness.
Manx Care says 400 of those were new outpatient consultations and 700 were follow-up.
Face to face appointments resumed on Monday following two weeks of disruption caused by a 15 per cent reduction in staffing.
