£200 fine for man who was disorderly at pub

29-year-old was abusive to police officers

A Ballure man's been fined after a drunken incident outside a Ramsey pub.

Twenty-nine-year-old Andrew Arthur Rollinson appeared before at Douglas Courthouse.

He admitted disorderly behaviour on 29 August - the court heard Rollinson was drinking in the Royal George, on Market Place, on 29 August.

When he saw police turn up outside to arrest a woman he didn't know he gesticulated at officers.

He began shouting at them drunkenly and was repeatedly warned about his behaviour.

John Wright, defending, said Rollinson had no memory of the incident and was genuinely remorseful.

Magistrates fined him £200 and ordered to pay £50 towards prosecution costs.
