First issue 'Wild Isle of Man' released today
2026 is set be the year of the Manx Language and the celebration is set to feature on stamps this year.
The Isle of Man Post Office has said commemorative artwork will be available to buy.
The first issue will be 'Wild Isle of Man' by Andy North and will be released today (6 January).
Blein ny Gaelgey is a year-long programme featuring concerts and other events.
Maxine Cannon is the General Manager of Stamps and Coins.
She explained what people can expect this year:
Andy North, author of Wild Guide Isle of Man says: “I feel very lucky to have been able to wander around this stunning Island, exploring and capturing some of the natural beauty and the special places that may have been hidden just off the beaten tracks. I would like as many people as possible to share this feeling of gratitude for all that we have around us and I hope you enjoy a tiny glimpse of that within this set of stamps.”
This collection also marks the 20th anniversary of Manx charity Beach Buddies.
