21 new homes set to be created on former airfield

DOI gets planning approval in Jurby

Twenty-one new homes could be created on the former airfield in Jurby.

The Department of Infrastructure has obtained planning approval for the dwellings on the site which used to be home to a Royal Air Force station.

Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says they will be 'affordable':

He also told Tynwald he was unsure whether a 'Jurby masterplan' from 2006 was still being used or if it had been superseded by a new document.
